Inhouse SAP BI Consultant
About our client
For our client, who is continuously evolving to create unique value, we are looking for:
Your responsibilities
- Directly (and hands-on) mentality of the continuous development and operations of a platform together with the Product Owner (PO)
- Develop and adjust data models / flows and extractors within SAP BW to feed Anaplan
- Develop and configure new models and user stories within Anaplan due to business needs
- Establish a solid system environment regarding data exchanges scenarios and reporting
- Consult the Corporate Supply Chain department and make recommendations for enhancements, better usages and processes
- Align improvements and changes with other departments
- Support the PO and external partner on the solution design and communicate technology strategy
- Managing the collaboration between external development teams, IT and other internal stakeholders while removing obstacles on a daily base
- Helping other departments to evaluate the usage of the platform for their services
- Manage infrastructure and platform projects to build new capabilities and upgrade existing ones
- Ensuring scalability, performance and resilience of the platform, including adequate measures for legal and regulatory development
- Respond and resolve incidents with the different teams and partners involved
Your profile
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in a relevant field of work or an equivalent combination of education and work related experience
- Experience in SAP BW, SAP BW on Hana, SAP BW/4HANA (data modeling)
- Practical knowledge in SAP Analytics Cloud
- Practical knowledge in planning and forecasting applications and tools preferred Anaplan
- Experience in Database management systems (SQL, noSQL) and Data Integration
- Knowledge about End-to-End processes of SAP PP/PP-PI and SAP MM
- Analytical mindset
- Technical, conceptional & analytical skillset
- Capable of working to both tactical and strategic timescales
- Good communicator at multiple levels and across multiple disciplines
- Team Player, able to provide input into a multifunctional team
- A “can do” attitude, open and welcomes new challenges. Ability to work on multiple tasks in parallel and ready to take on responsibility from day one
- Fluent in English, German is a plus
